This wedding at the Barn on 1st in Idaho Falls is full of inspiration for brides and grooms that love neutrals and texture! All of the vendors involved put their creative talent together to make it amazing. I would describe the wedding style as organic and romantic. The color palette featured muted neutrals, with shades of tan and white. From the cake to the dress to the makeup, every unique detail fit together to create a stunning wedding.
Wedding Details
First, the location. The Barn on 1st is a gorgeous venue in Idaho Falls and it was perfect for this shoot. It features tons of natural light, high ceilings, white walls, and beautiful wood floors. I always love shooting there! It is the perfect space for weddings of any style. It is beautiful all on its own, or it can be completely changed and customized.
The florals were the statement piece of the wedding. I can’t say enough about Plush Floral’s amazing work. Joni made the space come alive with an explosion of texture by mixing dried florals, palm leaves, pampas grass, and fresh roses. The aisle arrangements lead to the asymmetrical arch masterpiece which was the perfect backdrop for the wedding ceremony as well as portraits of the bride. The bride bouquet was simple and elegant.
Additionally, the cake was also a work of art. Madelynn at Made by Madelynn Cakery always makes incredible cakes that are as delicious as they are beautiful. This cake was all white, with subtle florals painted in the frosting like brushstrokes. And it was so elegant!
Next, the dress. It was completely unique and even matched the cake with its floral lace details. I loved the long sleeves and flowing skirt. Mariah’s Bridal has an amazing selection of dresses for rent! And I think this one is my new favorite.
As for hair and makeup, Karli did an amazing job. She was also our model bride for the shoot, and as you can see, she is stunning. Her bridal hair and makeup went perfectly with the simple, elegant style of the wedding.
In Conclusion
Overall, everything about this elegant, neutral wedding at the Barn on 1st turned out so beautifully. I love working with such talented wedding vendors in the local Idaho Falls area. And I love creating inspiration for brides and grooms planning their wedding.
